  • Presentation of a Proclamation to Shellie Taylor, City of Allen Public Safety Communication Manager, Proclaiming April 7-13, 2019, as "Public Safety Telecommunicators Week."
  • Presentation of a Proclamation to Niccole Frazier, City of Allen Victim Advocate, Proclaiming April 7-13, 2019, as "Crime Victims' Rights Week."
  • Presentation of a Proclamation to Deborah Michnick, City of Allen Animal Control Supervisor, Proclaiming April 7-13, 2019, as "Bite Prevention Week."

Adopt a Resolution Approving a Homeland Security Grant Program for a Public Works Emergency Response Team Equipment Cache.

 
9.

Authorize the City Manager to Approve the Purchase of Video Image Vehicle Detection (VIVD) Equipment for Traffic Signals from Iteris Inc. through the Buyboard Cooperative Purchasing System in the Amount of $164,000.

 
10.

Authorize the City Manager to Purchase Water Line Materials from Thompson Pipe Group - Pressure, Inc. in the Amount of $110,876 for the Allenwood Drainage Improvements Project.

 
11.

Award Bid and Authorize the City Manager to Execute Annual Contracts with Customer Direct Apparel LLC, Ad-Wear and Specialty of Texas Inc., Cavender's, and Northern Imports DBA Work Wear Safety Shoes for the Direct Purchase of Uniform Apparel and Footwear in the Annual Amount of $110,000 with the Option for Two, One-Year Renewals.

Motion to Reappoint Mr. James Kerr to the North Texas Municipal Water District Board as a Representative for the City of Allen for a Two-Year Term Effective June 1, 2019, through May 31, 2021.

Consider All Matters Incident and Related to the Issuance and Sale of City of Allen, Texas, General Obligation Improvement and Refunding Bonds, Series 2019, Including the Adoption of an Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance of Such Bonds, Establishing Parameters for the Sale and Issuance of Such Bonds and Delegating Certain Matters to Authorized Officials of the City.

Consider all Matters Incident and Related to the Issuance and Sale of City of Allen, Texas, Waterworks & Sewer System Revenue Bonds, Series 2019, Including the Adoption of an Ordinance Authorizing the Issuance of Such Bonds, Establishing Parameters for the Sale and Issuance of Such Bonds and Delegating Certain Matters to Authorized Officials of the City.
