| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
In 2019, the Community Development Corporation approved a project that includes the installation of seven stationary and one portable Outdoor Weather Warning Stations at the following locations:
- Allen Station Park
- Celebration Park (2 systems)
- Ford Pool/Park
- Joe Farmer Recreation Center (portable)
- Spirit Park
- The Courses at Watters Creek
- The Edge Visitor Center
The Outdoor Weather Warning Stations will serve as severe weather warning systems, as well as, functioning weather stations, to provide alerts to our park system users, primarily during league play.
Perry Weather Consulting, Inc., will provide services, including all equipment, installation, programming, repairs and warranty.

Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute an agreement with Perry Weather Consulting, Inc., to purchase and install seven stationary and one portable Outdoor Weather Warning Stations at various park locations throughout the City in the amount of $114,300.
