On March 5, 2019, the Purchasing Division solicited six-hundred and twenty-five vendors and received eight (8) offers in response to the City's Request for Proposal #2019-1-17 Temporary Staffing for Food and Beverage services for the Allen Event Center and The Courses at Watters Creek.

Five of the proposals received were designated responsive and have been evaluated based on the following criteria: Firm Experience and Qualifications, Customer Service/Responsiveness, References, and Price. City of Allen staff represented the evaluation committee.

Our goal is to determine the vendors that can provide the best combination of experience, capability, quality and services. Based on review of specific rating criteria, the evaluation committee recommends award to Arch Staffing Group, Inc., SMB Staffing LLC, and Salazar Services LLC dba F&B Services for Temporary Staffing for Food and Beverage. The City will engage the services from the awarded vendors on an as-needed basis.

The funding for these purchases will be expensed to the Allen Event Center and the Courses at Watters Creek and are already accounted for in the budget.

Staff recommends that the City Council award bid and authorize the City Manager to execute the purchase of temporary food and beverage personnel services with Arch Staffing Group, Inc., SMB Staffing LLC, and Salazar Services LLC dba F&B Services in the amount of $300,000 with two optional one-year renewals.
