| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
Three tensile membrane panels (the large shade sails) at Celebration Park were severely torn in a weather-related event in late 2018. An insurance claim was summitted to TML and approved. TML will pay the replacement cost of the three sails once the project is complete.
Fabritech is an affiliate of the company that initially installed the membranes and are the only company that submitted a bid on this job. They will design, engineer, fabricate, supply and install three (3) tensile membrane panels supported by existing and supplied by others steel, cables, support accessories and membrane plates. The replacement panels area located at two different structures on the site, pavilions A and B.

| | | | | | | | BUDGETARY IMPACT
This project is initially being funded by the Facility Maintenance Operating Budget and will be reimbursed once the TML reimbursement payment is processed.

Staff recommends that Council award bid and authorize the City Manager to execute a contract with Fabritech for the replacement of three tensile membrane panels at Celebration Park.
