| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
Since the golf course re-opened in January 2013, several flood events have eroded the banks of Russell and Rowlett creeks in strategic areas of the golf course that could potentially compromise the design and playability of specific golf holes. Erosion damage is located adjacent to bridges that support golf cart and foot traffic on the golf course.
On April 10, 2019, nine vendors responded to a Request for Proposal for Golf Course Infrastructure Repairs. A thorough evaluation was completed on all proposals by staff. The award recommendation is based on the vendor's demonstrated capabilities to meet all qualifications, terms, conditions and project costs.

The repair work is funded through the Community Development Corporation in an amount not to exceed $218,066. Contract award includes 10% contingency.
