| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
The City of Allen applied for a grant through the Office of the Governor for a Homeland Security Grant Project in fiscal year 2018. The grant has an effective date of January 1, 2019. The grant consists of an emergency response trailer and equipment that can be utilized regionally to aid in emergency responses as well as incidents within the City of Allen. Once the trailer and equipment are procured, they will become City of Allen property and will be maintained and stored by the City. The project will be fully funded by the Homeland Security Grant Program. The value of the grant is $43,000.
