| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
The Lowery Freshman Center has been expanded and the facility was relocated to a new building along Greenville Avenue, changing pedestrian and vehicle traffic patterns in the immediate area of the former facility. With this relocation, the need for school zones on Main Street and on Jupiter Road south of Main Street are no longer necessary. The school zone on Greenville will be extended to 200' north of Pebblebrook and a section south of Jupiter removed. AISD and the Police Department have reviewed this recommendation through the Traffic Safety Advisory Committee and concur with the school zone amendments.

The funds for the new signage are included in the traffic engineering operating budget.
