| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
The CAPER is a summary of the results and accomplishments of the programs funded through the CDBG Program for the 2017-2018 program year. This report, which is required by HUD, reviews how the previous year's programs have implemented the goals established in the five-year Consolidated Plan and further refined in the annual Action Plan.
The public hearing is an opportunity for citizens to comment on the report. The draft CAPER was advertised in The Allen American and has been on the City's website for review and comment since October 25, 2018. As of the date of publishing this report, no comments have been received. Once the CAPER is approved by the City Council, it will be submitted to HUD for approval.

Staff recommends the City Council adopt the Resolution authorizing submission of the 2017-2018 Comprehensive Annual Performance Evaluation Report to HUD.
