| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
This item amends Chapter 8 of the Code of Ordinances by adding an article related to special events.
The purpose of this amendment is to provide a mechanism to permit special events. Special events utilize various city resources and it is imperative that the impact on these resources is evaluated through the permit process in order to minimize the ancillary impact the event will have on those not directly participating.
