| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
This item amends the Code of Ordinances by changing Chapter 6 "Health and Environment" Article II "Nuisances, High Weeds and Grass"; Chapter 9 "Motor Vehicles and Traffic" Article I "General" and Article IX "Stopping, Standing and Parking Generally"; and Chapter 13 "Streets and Sidewalks" Article I "General" and Article II "Standards and Regulations".
The purpose of this amendment is threefold. First, minor modifications are proposed pertaining to the enforcement of property maintenance standards. Second, regulations are proposed addressing the parking of commercial vehicles within residential/local thoroughfares. Third, minor modifications are proposed in order to clarify intersection sight visibility standards to be consistent with the Allen Land Development Code.
