Section 1.3 of the City Council Rules of Order and Procedure states:

"At the commencement of the City Council, the Mayor nominates and the City Council confirms Councilmember appointments to outside agencies, committees, task forces, boards and commissions, and liaison appointments. Councilmembers provide a link for representing the values, beliefs and position of the City Council to these entities. The representative will periodically report to the City Council on the activities of these organizations."

Attached is a list of the appointments made for 2017-18.

Staff recommends confirming appointments of Councilmembers as board liaisons.
