ACTION PROPOSED:
Adopt a Resolution Reappointing Members to Fill Expiring and Vacant Terms on the Board of Directors for Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Reinvestment Zone No. 1 (Garden District).



BACKGROUND

On December 13, 2005, the City Council adopted Ordinance No. 2471-12-05 designating Allen Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone No. 1 and creating a Board of Directors. Members are appointed to serve two year staggered terms. The City Council is asked to consider the following appointments:

Place No. 3 - Peter H. Vargas, City Manager, City of Allen

Place No. 5 - Marc Kurbansade, Community Development Director, City of Allen


STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends the City Council make appointments to fill expiring and vacant terms on the Board of Directors for Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Reinvestment Zone No. 1 (Garden District).

MOTION

I make a motion to adopt Resolution No. __________ appointing members to fill expiring and vacant terms on the Board of Directors for Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Reinvestment Zone No. 1 (Garden District).
