| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
According to Section 2.15 of the Allen City Charter, "the first meeting of each newly elected council, for induction into office, shall be held at the first regular meeting following its election … ."
The Runoff Election for the purpose of electing the Councilmember for Place No. 3 was held on June 16, 2018. The Allen City Council conducted the Canvass of the Election on June 25, 2018, at which time the following individual was declared duly elected:
Council, Place No. 3: Lauren Doherty
City Secretary Shelley George will administer the Oath-of-Office to the duly elected Councilmember and Mayor Terrell will present the Certificate-of-Election.
