On December 21, 2017, the Purchasing Division solicited three-hundred
and fifty (350) vendors and received eight (8) responses to Bid #2018-10-4 for Fertilizer,
Clay, Quick-Dry and Chemicals for The Parks and Recreation Department and The Courses
at Watters Creek.
Staff believes it is
in the best interest of the City to award to the overall lowest-priced, most
responsive bidder(s) who meet the specification for each line item.

Funding is available in the Parks and Recreation
Department and The Courses at Watters Creek operating budgets for the purchase of fertilizer, clay, quick-dry and chemicals.

Staff recommends City Council authorize the City Manager to execute the purchase of fertilizer, clay,
quick-dry and chemicals for the Parks and Recreation Department and The Courses
at Watters Creek with BWI Companies, Greensmiths, Inc., Harrell's, LLC, Target
Specialty Products and Winfield Solutions in the annual amount of $235,851 for
a five-year term.
