Authorize the City Manager to Execute a License and Facilities Agreement with Saint Andrews Park, LLC and Saint Andrews Park Homeowners Association, Inc. Related to Maintenance of Non-Standard Street Lights.

ACTION PROPOSED:

Authorize the City Manager to Execute a License and Facilities Agreement with Saint Andrews Park, LLC and Saint Andrews Park Homeowners Association, Inc. Related to Maintenance of Non-Standard Street Lights.




BACKGROUND

This agreement formally identifies the role that the developer, and ultimately the homeowner's association (HOA), will have in maintaining decorative street lights in the public right-of-way.  The agreement formalizes the understanding that the City shall pay for electricity, but the HOA will be responsible for all routine maintenance of the street lights, aesthetic or inordinate maintenance, knock-downs, or outright replacement.


STAFF RECOMMENDATION

Staff recommends that City Council authorize the City Manager to execute a License and Facilities Agreement with Saint Andrews Park, LLC and Saint Andrews Park Homeowners Association, Inc. related to maintenance of non-standard street lights.

I make a motion to authorize the City Manager to execute a License and Facilities Agreement with Saint Andrews Park, LLC and Saint Andrews Park Homeowners Association, Inc. related to maintenance of non-standard street lights.
