| | | | | | | | BACKGROUND
The Allen City Council has established boards which offer citizens an extraordinary opportunity to participate in the city's governmental affairs. Their activities have helped to shape or influence public policy in many areas. The City Council has determined that an amendment to the appointment process for boards will assist the City Council and staff involved in the appointment process with consistent procedures and standards.
