Allen Event Center uses third party personnel to fill event specific staffing needs. This allows the flexibility to staff a variety of event types base on demand and skills needs. With a changing event schedule and specific event needs, this approach allows the Allen Event Center the ability better manage its labor needs. Position examples include Food Runners, Premium Level Attendants, Servers, Concession Stand Workers, Bartenders, Cooks and Dishwashers.
On March 30, 2017, the Purchasing Division received four (4) responses for the Allen Event Center Temporary Personnel for Food and Beverage Service Request for Proposal, 2017-2-45. All proposals submitted have been evaluated based on the following criteria: Firm Experience and Qualifications, Customer Service/Responsiveness, References and Price. City of Allen staff represented the evaluation committee. Our goal is to determine the vendor that can provide the best combination of experience, capability, quality and services.
Based on review of specific rating criteria, the evaluation committee recommends award to Salazar Services LLC dba F&B Services as the Primary contracted vendor for Temporary Personnel for Food and Beverage Service at the Allen Event Center and Secondary award to First Class Workforce Solutions.
